Pillowcase

I was sewing a few charity pillowcases, and V wanted one for herself. These are the fabrics she picked out. Pansies and little pink flowers on a brown background.

Skirt

I made this skirt yesterday. It went together super quick. I just used straight pieces of fabric, and an elastic waistband.

Yellow Octopus

I just finished this Octopus for my littlest cutie.

Felted scarf

This is my first felted piece, from the fiber arts class I am taking.
It is hard to tell from the picture, the purple (with a little green in it) is the felted wool. the bright colors are bits of silk that are placed on top of the batt, and is held in place by the felting process. This was wet felted.

Heart to heart swap

These are some of the swap blocks, I made 41 total.
They are all the same. 20 pieces of fabric, in each heart.
I am not paper piecing for awhile!!

Quilted purse

I tried out an easy quilted square pattern. I gave this to a charity auction.

star placemats

One of my quilt groups is having a challenge. We all drew a crayon out of a bag, then had to make a quilted project with that color. The color I drew is `macaroni and cheese'. The next day I received a package from my secret pal with these 5 fabrics, and the light orange is the perfect `macaroni and cheese'!
Ta Da! Macaroni and Cheese placemats!

My finished Round Robin

This is my finished round robin. I just quilted and bound it as it came back to me. I didn't think it needed anything extra.

4th Round, Round Robin

The fourth and final round. This one was Bear Paw.
It was very difficult to choose a color. The owner wanted only her fabrics in the rounds.

3rd round, Round Robin

This is the 3rd round. It was applique.

fat 1/4 challenge, August

My four blocks for the August fat 1/4 challenge. This time I won the lottery for all of the blocks. My top is put together. Ready to go in the `waiting to be quilted' pile.
