2013 New FO challenge

So I have added a new button to my blog-yes over there on the right. It is called the NewFO challenge (get it-instead of UFO). Ok, so am I really going to start a new project every month just because I can? Well, probably. But it is not like you think-I love starting new projects, so I might as well get credit for it. And really it is not just to keep up! My goal is to finish all of those NewFOs so they don't become UFOs!

Bags and Fabric-reduction totals for 2012

Lets start with the fabric-I did a very good job of reducing my fabric stash! Yea!
205 yards went out of the house. That total includes projects made, fabric sold, fabrics donated.
I did acquire 57 more yards, but I am very pleased with the overall totals! This year will be even better!
Plastic bags, well, I did not do quite as well. In December alone we brought in 30 more bags and had only 5 or so go out. Overall, more went out than came in, but I can do better! Get those reusable bags into the car! And use them!!

Ornamental Elegance

This is the ornament on the front of the Stampin' UP Holiday Catalog.
It was so fun to make! As it is my second ornament, I changed a few things.
My rosette is green. I used Lucky Limeade ribbon instead of the Linen loops and I added the Silver Glimmer Paper to give a little pop to the Faceted Button.

Thanksgiving Card

Here is a nice little card to bring to your Thanksgiving hostess.
I used the Full of Blessings stamp set, stamped with Staz-On and water colored with greens, oranges and reds and applied with Blender Pens.
River Rock card stock and Natural Composition DSP are the background papers.
Ribbon Slide accents a Riding Hood Red ribbon, over Very Vanilla Velvet Ribbon.
